As readers of “Art’s History” are aware, there are no more important dates on the Canadian political history calendar than the birthdays of our Prime Ministers. Next to those anniversaries, of course, is the significance (especially to the for historically minded) of the maiden Parliamentary addresses of the Prime Ministers of Canada. A resident of Kingston, Ontario, Milnes serves as the in-house historian at the 175 year-old Frontenac Club Hotel.
