Former Alberta premier Alison Redford is the zombie of Alberta politics: just when you think she's been relegated to writing about climate change on her LinkedIn blog, there she is again. The NDP government sent a conflict of interest investigation that ruled in Redford's favour in 2013 to an independent review. Last week, the CBC found details that raised even more questions about a legal consortium that Redford, then justice minister, picked to represent the province in a $10-billion lawsuit against tobacco companies. The consortium, the one she liked best, also happened to include her ex-husband and political advisor.
