Today in Canada's Political History - March 28, 1929: Death of Quebec’s Sir Jean-Lomer Gouin

A Quebec giant from the world of politics passed into history on this date in 1929. Sir Jean-Lomer Gouin, his province’s Premier from 1905 to 1920, also served as Lt.-Governor of Quebec and was federal Minister of Justice in the cabinet of Prime Minister Mackenzie King during his distinguished career.
