Today in Canada's Political History - December 25, 1971: Happy birthday Prime Minister (Justin) Trudeau!

  • National Newswatch

Canada’s 23rd Prime Minister, the Right Honourable Justin Trudeau celebrates his 53rd birthday today. Born while his parents, Pierre and Margaret, lived over at 24 Sussex Drive, Justin was the first of three children born to the couple. One of the first to call Pierre with congratulations was none other than U.S. President Richard Nixon. And only a few months later, the President delivered a toast during a state visit to Ottawa. He had those at his table drink to the future Prime Minister of Canada, Justin Trudeau! It was quite a prophecy. Happy birthday Prime Minister from Art’s History.
