It is a great pleasure to send out birthday greetings to one of the most important conservative-voices of her generation, MP Melissa Lantsman. She is turning 41 today.
She made history in 2021 when she was elected the nation’s first-ever Jewish woman MP, and her party’s first openly gay female MP. Under the Leader of Her Majesty’s Loyal Opposition, Pierre Poilievre, she serves as co-deputy leader of Canada’s federal Conservatives. A brilliant communicator, she was also Prime Minister Stephen Harper’s director of communications and has enjoyed great success in the private sector.
In Ontario, she served as Caroline Mulroney’s director of communications in the latter’s run for the Ontario PC leadership. She was later appointed the party’s war room director and chief spokesperson during Doug Ford’s successful provincial campaign that made him Premier.
Happy birthday from Art’s History Melissa Lantsman!
