Today in Canada's Political History - April 29, 2011: Happy Anniversary Will and Kate!

  • National Newswatch

Canada’s future King, Prince William, and Catherine Middleton were married on this date in 2011. Only a few weeks later they honoured Canada and Canadians by coming to visit us on a nine-day cross-Canada tour. This was their first-ever tour trip as a couple outside of the U.K. The Royal couple visited each region of the nation, stopping in Quebec, Ontario, Prince Edward Island, Alberta and the NWT. Happy anniversary from Canada your Royal Highnesses!
