Today in Canada's Political History - July 21, 1976, Happy birthday David Eby!

  • National Newswatch

British Columbia’s NDP Premier David Eby is celebrating his 49th birthday today. First elected to the B.C. Legislature in 2013, he would serve in senior cabinet posts under the late John Horgan. He was elected leader of his party and appointed Premier in 2022. Premier Eby and his team fought a difficult election last year and won the slimmest of majority victories. Still, power is power and the BC Premier will be celebrating his big day today while holding the highest political office in his province. Happy birthday Premier Eby!
