OTTAWA -- Kirsten Hillman, who has been Canada's ambassador to the U.S. for six years, says she is ending her tenure in Washington, D.C., in the new year.

In a media statement, Hillman says "this is the right time to put a team in place that will see the CUSMA review through to its conclusion."
