Today in Canada's Political History: December 25, 1971, Birth of the Right Honourable Justin Trudeau

  • National Newswatch

Canada’s 23rd Prime Minister, the Right Honourable Justin Trudeau, is celebrating more than Christmas today. December 25, of course, is his birthday and the former PM turns 54. He was born in Ottawa and his proud parents were, of course, then Prime Minister Pierre Trudeau and Margaret Trudeau. Justin would go onto become PM in 2015 and served until earlier this year in Canada’s most difficult job. Happy birthday from Art’s History Mr. Trudeau! And on a personal note, another reminder, Mr. Trudeau, that you still haven’t joined seven of your colleague Prime Ministers who have previously performed a tree-planting in my famous garden here in Kingston. Over to you Mr. Trudeau!
