It is a big day on Art’s History as we are celebrating both a Prime Minister’s birthday and a Governor General’s birthday at the same time. Georges Vanier, the nation’s GG 1959 to 1967, was born in 1888, while future PM, Lester Pearson, entered the world on the same date in 1897. So happy Vanier-Pearson Day all!
