One of the most important Canadian political journalists of her generation has a milestone birthday today. It’s a big one as the CBC’s Rosemary Barton, the public broadcaster’s chief political correspondent, is turning 50 today. One of the leading broadcast journalists of her generation, Ms. Barton is familiar to millions across Canada who follow politics closely. She is also an important role model for countless young women considering a career in journalism.
It is therefore a great personal and professional pleasure to send out birthday greetings from Art’s History to Ms. Barton on her special day.
